RIPPLE EFFECT FOUNTAIN
Located in Reno, “The Biggest Little City in the World,” the recently renovated fountains are being referred to by guests at a mini Bellagio Fountain. It’s the first thing guests see upon arrival at the Atlantis Casino, and this unique show fountain is unlike anything in the city. The latest show fountain technologies have replaced the original fountains from the 1980s, creating an exciting atmosphere before the guests can hit the casino floor. The new choreographed show fountains include a two-tiered round basin main feature in the entry round-a-bout.

The water flows over the upper basin weir into the lower basin and includes a large geyser nozzle in the center, surrounded by medium geysers in a concentric ring, and small geysers in the outer most concentric ring. It doesn’t stop there; two-axis single stream nozzles dance around the center nozzle and air-launch nozzles shooting 40’ in the air. Attached to the round-a-bout are in and out roads for the main casino entrance; two identical fountains parallel these driveways. These sister fountains each have an upper stair-step weir basin with water flowing down the stair-steps into a large oval basin. Included in the stair-step basin is a medium geyser nozzle in the center, medium geysers in a concentric ring, and medium geysers in the outer most concentric ring. Located adjacent to the stair-step basin is a two-tiered round basin with water flowing over a weir edge into the lower basin.

The two-tiered basin includes individually controlled, modulating arching stream nozzles that create various arching patterns with the ability to collide in the middle of the basin to create unique fireworks like effects. The SplashValve. This one of a kind show fountain also includes independently controlled underwater color-changing LED lighting fixtures with over sixteen million color variations to accentuate the spectacular water effects. The show fountains are pre-programmed with choreographed to music shows, creating thrilling, unforgettable experiences for guests of the resort and passers-by alike.

The show never ends, as new programmed sequences added to the virtually unlimited show program capability of the sophisticated system ensures guests come back to see what’s next at the Atlantis Casino Resort Spa.
